The Ripple Effects of Dementia: How one family’s experience affects a community

Join us at Atria Woodbriar for a presentation by Lori La Bey, renowned speaker, trainer and advocate for new care approaches for people living with dementia.  Together, we will watch a 90-minute film about dementia titled “His Neighbor Phil,” then discuss how it relates to your family, friends and workplace.

About Lori La Bey

Inspired by her mother who lived with dementia for more than 30 years, Lori La Bey is the founder of Alzheimer’s Speaks, a Minnesota-based advocacy group providing education and support for those living with Alsheimer’s and other forms of dementia.  She was recognized by Maria Shriver as an Architect of Change, and her Alzheimer’s Speaks radio show is the first such program dedicated to the topic of dementia.
