Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment Programs

The focus of a Partial Hospitalization Program is to provide the intensity and structure of an inpatient program in the less restrictive environment of outpatient care. The Program is often used as a hospital diversion or as a transition from an inpatient facility to the community. There is routine contact with psychiatrists and nurses on a regular basis.

Programs include assessment, group therapies, individual counseling, psycho-educational group projects, family consultation and community-based activities.

A Day Treatment Program is less intensive and the focus is on adjustment to, and recovery from, the psychiatric disability utilizing a psychosocial rehabilitation model.

Social Rehabilitation Programs provide a setting of healthy and productive social interactions to help residents reintegrate into the community.
