MA residents still need health insurance coverage! Get Help!

Despite Federal changes Massachusetts Residents age 18 and older are still required to have health insurance or face a state tax penalty. You may have heart the federal requirement to have health insurance – called the individual manadate – was repealed starting in 2019, but Massachusetts requirement to have coverage will still be in place. Stay covered!

FREE in-person help from a Certified Massachusetts Health Connector Navigator who is available:

  • If you are newly eligible for ConnectorCare Plans (subsidized public health insurance), or qualify for a Special Enrollment Period with a Qualifying Life Event, you can enroll at any time within 60 days of the event.
  • You can apply and enroll in MassHealth at any time during the year.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NON US CITIZENS – If you are a noncitizen you may be eligible for MassHealth Standard (if pregnant), Limited, Childrens Medical Secutity Plan (CMSP), Health Safety Net (HSN) or Health Connector Plans.
